Musings on Fear and what a Mage might do about it.

Musings on Fear and what a Mage might do about it.
I was recently asked to Explain the Practices of Chaos Magick.
Not having a good answer to hand, I went and pondered for a while. Here are some thoughts on the subject.
I started 2020 by sitting down with a large pot of coffee and having a chat with Tommie Kelly over on Adventurers in Woo Woo, which is presented here for your edification and amusement.
Every so often I get together with some of my Discordian chums, and we sneak off for a “cabal meeting”, away from the prying eyes of our significant others (who think we’re all quite nuts), where we indulge in the drinking of wine, the eating of bunless hot-dogs, the exuberant Hailing of Eris, and the general planning of our contribution to Operation Mindfuck.
Once one begins upon a path of Magick, sooner or later one is bound to ask “But how can this be”? When they started, it could easily have been with an incredulous and skeptical mind. A go on a Ouija board at a sleep over, ordering a set of tarot cards from a book club news letter, a borrowed copy of Crowley from a school friend, or a chance encounter with a real, live witch.
A few months ago I met up with THE wonderful and lovely Tommie Kelly for coffee and a chat, during which I must have mentioned that I was an atheist. A few days later, in his podcast, he brought that up. He said (I paraphrase) that a wizard professing himself an atheist struck a discordant chord with him. He did mention, though, that often when the word ‘atheist’ is used, there is often a misunderstanding of what is meant.
So, to clarify, I mean it literally:
“A person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods”.
In case you missed it, I wrote a piece for the lovely Tommie Kelly over at Adventures in Woo Woo the other day.
Enjoy!
When I begun my Magickal adventures, I was called upon to choose a Magickal name. Here is the story of how I came up with it.
So, what’s going on here?
Sepherion le’Fey is the nom de plume of Eoin Kerrigan and the purpose of this site is to allow me to wax lyrical on all things Magickal.
Pull up a pew, pour yourself a drink and enjoy my tales of high adventure.
